Site of the last major U.S. gold-rush stampede (March–April 1927) on the SE slope of Lone Mountain SW of Tonopah — the so-called auto-camp rush. Brief tent city and later 1930s production left mill foundations, dumps, and sparse building remnants on public/remote desert tracks.
