Pleistocene basalt scoria cone (~390,000 years old) rising about 85 m beside NV-265 in Clayton Valley north of Silver Peak. Loose cinders, volcanic bombs, and a classic lopsided rim make it a roadside geology stop; the valley floor beyond holds lithium brine ponds of the major U.S. lithium operation—view from public roads, do not enter mine facilities.
