1864 silver mining camp on the east flank of the Clan Alpine Mountains (Cherry Creek drainage), with a short-lived stamp mill at the canyon base. Ore proved limited and the camp faded; stonework and cabin ruins remain on remote public-range approaches east of Fallon / Highway 50 country.
