Abandoned Carson & Colorado / Southern Pacific narrow-gauge transfer townsite ~5 miles north of Lone Pine in the Owens Valley. Owenyo was the valley’s rail shipping hub where standard- and narrow-gauge freights met; the station closed mid-20th century and the townsite was abandoned in the 1960s. Surface remains are scant (grades, pads, scattered debris) — a railroad ghost more than a building cluster.
