Silver-lead camp discovered in 1869 on the east flank of the Mineral Hill range; boom population near 450–500 with a fifteen-stamp mill that produced more than $700,000 in 1871 alone. Foundations, mill ruins, a brick chimney, and a small cemetery remain on a short dirt road off NV-278.
