Tikaboo Peak is the closest legal public viewpoint toward Groom Lake, reached by a long dirt approach and a steep ridge hike. From the summit you look across restricted airspace and basin ranges without entering the military boundary. Carry water, expect no services, and respect posted closed areas on the descent toward the base.
