Poston Memorial Monument

Outdoor memorial on the Colorado River Indian Reservation south of Parker marking the Poston War Relocation Center—the largest of the WWII WRA camps by area, which confined more than 17,000 Japanese Americans. A 30-foot concrete pillar and lantern-style elements (dedicated 1992) stand near the historic camp corridor for reflection and education; this is a solemn civil-rights historic landscape, not a recreation playground.
