Historic milling settlement (1860s–1880s) on the Humboldt River corridor that processed ore from the Arabia and Trinity districts. Home of the Montezuma Smelting Works, among the earliest commercial lead smelters in the U.S. Distinct from Oreana Station (rail siding) a few miles northeast.
