Mason Valley Wildlife Management Area

Nevada Department of Wildlife 17,742-acre WMA on the Walker River floodplain north of Yerington—wet meadows, ponds, sloughs, and desert shrub supporting waterfowl, shorebirds, raptors, and warm-water fisheries. Primary public birding and fishing access for western Nevada’s agricultural valleys; seasonal restrictions protect nesting and waterfowl management.
