A low-desert geothermal oasis on BLM land near Holtville, with developed outdoor mineral pools still flowing at soaking temperature beside the Hot Springs Long Term Visitor Area. Day-use soakers and winter LTVA campers share a palm-edged patch of public land just off Evan Hewes Highway—one of the few remaining free desert visitor pools in the Imperial Valley after San Diego County’s developed springs are already in the atlas.
