Near-ghost village in Union County (2020 population 51) that lends its name to the Folsom Paleo-Indian tradition. A railroad town after 1888, devastated by the 1908 flood; the Folsom Museum in the Doherty Mercantile anchors visitor interpretation. Capulin Volcano National Monument lies a few miles south; the Wild Horse Arroyo type site is managed separately and is not this village pin.
