A named perennial spring oasis in Cottonwood Canyon on the west side of Death Valley, where cottonwoods and streamside vegetation create rare desert wildlife habitat along the popular Cottonwood–Marble Canyon backpacking loop. Bighorn sheep, birds, and other desert fauna use the water; visitors reach the spring by high-clearance road and canyon walk rather than a roadside turnout.
