Short-lived 1870s Mormon colony on the Little Colorado River near present-day Winslow—one of several United Order settlements that struggled with flooding, irrigation, and isolation. Stone walls and foundations remain as a thin pioneer-era historic pin beside the better-known Homolovi Ancestral Pueblo landscape. Distinct from Brigham City, Utah, and from the park’s pueblo ruins interpretation.
